As performance marketing specialist at Donor Network, you'll own the paid acquisition funnel end-to-end, from ad creative and media buying through to conversion rate optimisation and average order value. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with no team to manage: just you, the data, and a relentless focus on what moves the numbers. Everything is tested. You'll design experiments, pitch them to the CMO, run them, read the data, and act on the results. Technical marketing chops and a sharp analytical head are required.
If you play it right, this is a fast-track to becoming one of the sharpest AI-native marketers in Europe.
About Donor Network
Donor Network is an innovative startup in the fertility industry. We’re the sperm bank with higher standards, helping future parents achieve their dream of starting a family. Join us and be part of a team dedicated to making a significant impact on people's lives.
We’re in start-up mode. We have fun, make decisions fast, and get things done. We all work cross-functionally, and we all have the opportunity to get close to the customer in service situations.
We have high expectations of each other. We'll have high expectations of you. You should have high expectations of us.
Responsibilities (...to be eased into)
We believe the right fit is much more than just past experience, so we’re looking for someone who can grow into these areas over time, not necessarily someone who can walk in with a gameplan on day 1.
- Paid media management across Meta, Google, and additional channels as we scale. You run the campaigns day-to-day and present test results and opportunities to the CMO for review and quick action.
- Split testing at every stage of the funnel — ad creative, audiences, landing pages, mailflows, checkout flow. You design the test, run it, read the data, and act on it.
- CRO ownership. Systematically lift conversion rates from first click to completed purchase through structured experimentation.
- AOV experimentation. Test bundling, upsells, cross-sells, and pricing strategies to find what increases average order value and overall profits — and prove it with data.
- Tracking and attribution setup. Ensure clean data flows from ad platforms through to analytics and backend — you'll need to be comfortable with pixels, server-side tracking, UTM structures, and GA4.
- Reporting and insight. Build dashboards and surface the insights that inform what to test next and where to scale.
- Mixed responsibilities to support the startup. These change often, and could be landing page builds, martech stack configuration, ad hoc marketing projects, and more.
Key Skills
- Proven track record running and scaling paid campaigns (Meta / Google).
- Deep experimentation instinct — you think in hypotheses and let data decide.
- Technical fluency: tracking, tag management, analytics, and ideally basic front-end skills for landing page iteration.
- Strong grasp of unit economics, CAC, LTV, ROAS — you optimise for profit, not vanity metrics.
- A drive to test and iterate. You're never "done."
- Comfort with ambiguity and speed. Startup pace, not agency pace. Others might tell you you're too hasty, but you'll fit right in here.
- Relentless curiosity, especially around AI as a force multiplier. You're the kind of person who's already using it to work 3-5x faster.
Benefits
- Mad startup energy.
- Full ownership of the acquisition funnel — no committees. You report to the CMO.
- Space to learn, supported by leadership.
- Space to build as part of a startup.
- Impact on direction. You define the experimentation roadmap and the systems behind it.
- Flexible office-first (Aarhus, Denmark) work model and a tight-knit team. Easy commute from Aarhus and surrounding areas.
- Barista coffee* (*requires you to be the barista)
- In-office gym.
